<p>이은희 인하대 소비자학과 교수는 “구글 동일한 글로벌 오프라인 사업자도 수입에만 신경쓰지, 문제가 생성했을 때 완만한 대처를 하지 않는 때가 적지 않다”면서 “구글 소액결제 사례가 많아지고 있다면 구글이 최대로 먼저 할 일은 이런 일이 또 생성하지 않게 조치를 취하는 것”이라고 이야기 했다.</p>
<p>생활비를 벌어야하는 건 고스란히 진 씨의 몫이었다. 다만 자금은 좀처럼 모이질 않았다. 진 씨는 편의점 알바를 다니며 20기한 연속으로 일을 했지만 벌어온 돈은 남편의 캐릭터를 키우는 데 속속 들어갔다. 남편은 매달 60만원 가까운 핸드폰 소액결제를 일삼았다.</p>
<p>신용카드로 머지포인트를 구매한 일부 구매자들은 이용처에서 이용이 중단됐는데도 할부자금이 계속적으로 빠져나가고 있다고 토로했다. 더욱이 결제 금액이 50만 원을 넘지 않는 소액이거나 일시불로 결제해 항변권을 행사하지 못해 고통받고 있는 상태이다.</p>
